Friday September 22rd


Registration – 8:30am
 

9am-10am – Dr. Brad Glowaki – The philosophy of Communication in the history and exam (Clinical Science)

  • Apply critical thinking to the issues of the clinical decision-making process and assisting the chiropractor in determining the clinical necessity for care

  • Understand the mechanism of injury, tissues, and structure.

  • Use relevant clinical guidelines to assist in the care of the patient.


10am-11am – Dr. Brad Glowaki – The science of the subluxation (Clinical Science)

  • Treatment and rehabilitative protocols using relevant guidelines and stages of injury

  • Technique considerations, functional tests for evaluating the need for rehabilitative protocols.

  • Biomechanical cervical subluxation categories indicative of trauma.

  • Commonality and accountability may be achieved through the developments of model which emphasize clinical outcome assessments

3pm-4pm – Dr. Brad Glowaki and Dr. John Gray – The Success Principles and Global Well-Being through Wellness Care (Patient care/Clinical Science)

  • Using science to communicate patient well being in a patient centered care model.

  • Review valid research articles on effectiveness of various chiropractic techniques and how to communicate them to your community

  • Adjusting for all ages and stages – how various communication techniques can be appropriate for different communities


4pm-5pm – Dr. Eric Russell – A Concussion of Forces: The Science, Neurology and Philosophy of a Chiropractic Adjustment

  • The class will cover the different concepts of vertebral subluxation.

  • Categorize the components of subluxation.

  • Review the philosophy and scientific literature concerning the chiropractic adjustment.


5-6pm – Dr. Brad Glowaki

  • Team building, Marketing, & growth strategies for sports.

  • Using the metaphor of teams in office for growth
     

Saturday September 23rd

 


8am-9am – Dr. Eric Russell – Full Spine Adjusting (Techique/subluxation theories/Biomechanics)

  • This course will review the common setups for different regions of the spine

  • Review proper setup, stabilization, and force generation.

  • Review indications and contraindications to adjust

  • Review common set-up errors by doctors
     

 

9am-10am – Dr. Eric Russell – Full Spine Adjusting (Technique/subluxation theories/Biomechanics)

11:30am-12:30pm – Dr Brad Glowaki, Dr. Ryan Carlson, and Dr. Eric Russell – Person Centered Care – A Vitalistic Approach (Science).

  • Understand the history and importance of Evidence Based Care in a vitalistic model.

  • The principles of Person Centered Care and Shared decision making will be discussed in the context of a vitalistic chiropractic office.

  • The characteristics of patient relationships will be discussed in a routine office visit.

  • Understand the current CEO functions that exist for a business owner to optimize their approach to modern chiropractic practice.
